Spotify Comes to SteelSeries Engine!

Praise Rick Astley! SteelSeries Engine update v3.15.4 includes Spotify support. Check out Spotify track info on your OLED display without tabbing away from your current window.

If music is a part of your daily work and/or PC gaming time, you'll love the new Spotify app for SteelSeries Engine! Now you can continue your raid or killing streak without tabbing away from your screen to find out which song is playing. Spotify support works for all SteelSeries devices with OLED including Apex 7, Apex Pro, GameDAC, and Rival 710.

Here's how to enjoy this new feature for yourself:

Step 1: Atualizar

If you haven't already, be sure to update your SteelSeries Engine to the latest version. (See v3.15.4 patch notes HERE.)

Step 2: Link your Spotify Account

  • Make sure the Spotify web player is installed on your computer. If not, you can find it HERE.
  • Sign in to Spotify.
  • Open the SteelSeries Engine.
  • Select the APPS tab.
  • Find the Spotify app and choose Configure. You will be prompted to link your Spotify account with SteelSeries Engine.
  • A new browser tab will open automatically. Accept the permissions.

Step 3: Customize

Back in the SteelSeries Engine window, you can configure your OLED settings to display song title, artist, album, and even song progress. Make it your own!

The new Spotify support app for SteelSeries Engine is perfect for listening while you work or play. For maximum rock out, we recommend pairing with the Audio Visualizer app! Enjoy!
